Warm In The Spring Layout

Back after quite a long time!

Here I have used Altenew’s Reflection Scrapbook Collection to make this layout. They have put together some great watercolour inspired 12×12″ papers. Absolutely love them!

Grabbed one of the papers included in the Reflection Kit. Next, I used a spray mist by Prima Marketing ‘Lime Wedge’. Then I put together some of the cutouts that were included in the collection. I have used a sticker sheet and few die cuts. The leaves die cuts come in white so you have a choice of either colouring it or putting as it is. I actually distressed it using Mowed Lawn. I kept some parts dark and rest a bit lighter to give it a leafy look.

The flowers are by Prima Marketing and Recollections. The silver embellishment with the word ‘Blessed’ was bought from Micheals and the ‘Create’ bulb is by Prima Marketing from their section Junkyard Findings. Finally, the word ‘Memories’ is from a sticker sheet by Heidi Swapp. It went perfectly with the layout. And that is all it!

Here’s another closeup so you can see a little more details!

Until next time!

Dead Orchids Altered Box

Hello, everyone!
I am finally back from my break and with the new post. YAY for me! I am here with a new Altered Box.

I painted the entire box with Distress Paint in Brushed Corduroy and then covered the lid using a paper by Recollections Tattered and Worn Cardstock Paper Pad. I distressed the paper with my all-time to-go Distress Ink in Vintage Photo. Then I sprayed some using Prima Marketing Color Bloom spray in Empress Gold and Heidi Swapp spray in Amethyst.

Next, I assembled some embellishments (FAV part). I Found a KEY in my stash (I am sorry I have no idea who’s it is) which I painted using Distress Paint in Dusty Concord and Dusty Attic‘s Gears in Tarnished Brass. I liked how it gave me a shimmery effect. Then took out some lace which I got from my home country Pakistan 3 years ago (OOPS!) and some metal embellishments which I bought from Micheals except the vintage looking frame and roman number which are by Tim Holtz. Flowers are by Prima Marketing from their collection ‘Tales of You & Me’ and also the small bulb that reads out ‘cute’. I have been saving this pack since FOREVER – literally. In the end, I felt something was still missing so I added a lacey twine on the side of the lid. It gave a box instant wear-off look which was very much needed.

This is it for now – I hope you like the post. Do leave some love below!

See you next time!

Scented Memories – Album In A Box

Hello, everyone!
I am back again with the post and this time I did the album in a box sort of a thing. I have already posted the details of the box in my earlier blog post. So, in this one, I will be covering the album.

For the album, I have used Prima Marketing Vintage Emporium in A4. It’s such a beautiful collection with subtle floral designs, vintage newsprint and musical sheets.

I tried making a different album than my usual one. I gave it a book sort of a look. It opens in the centre but the spacing is more on the left than on the right. I have used a velcro on the inside. First, I splattered few drops of Prima Marketing ‘Empress Gold’ using a brush. Then went on with the embellishments, the florals are a mix of Recollection and local store. That small ‘love’ typo bulb is by Prima Marketing and the chipboard ‘celebrating you’ is by Dusty Attic which I have painted with Distress Paint in Black Soot. I have also added some die cuts of gearheads. Those are by Sizzix and comes in a pack of 22 thinlit dies (I am not even kidding!). It’s designed by Tim Holtz. It has become my all-time FAVOURITE set. Last but not least, to give a bling I have used a flat pearl bought from Micheals.

The inside is covered by Prima Marketing papers and I have added few embellishments to make the entire thing pop. There is a pocket on the centre where I have added photo mats. Then on the left side, I have just clipped few tags with a paper clip. And that is all it!

Hope you all enjoy today’s post!

Altered Photo Frames

Hello friends!
Lately, I have been working on altering photo frames which I got from Ikea. I thought of making a combined post of it. They’re pretty easy to alter and I think it’s a perfect gift for your loved ones.
All I did was paint them with Distress Paints. First, one is painted with Shabby Shutters, then next is in Antique Linen and the last one is in Spiced Marmalade.
Then added all the required embellishments. Few of them are by Prima Marketing, Recollections. Tim Holtz, Finnabair etc.

Then I arranged the embellishments and layered up some more cardstocks.

Unforgettable Moments Canvas

Hi there! Today’s Crafters’ Palette post is a multi-layered canvas. Trust me it’s super easy to make. It hardly took 45 minutes!

First, I grabbed three cardstocks and tore them up. Then I distressed them using a bunch of Distress Ink colors and used Distress Spray Stains in ‘Festive Berries’ & ‘Seedless Preserves’.

Next, I grabbed some chipboard embellishments and used Distress Paints all over them. I used ‘Antique Linen’ & ‘Black Soot’. I then cut out some butterflies using the gorgeous Winged Beauties Thinlit Dies, and distressed them in two-tone. The last step was to add some Prima flowers!

Hope you liked it! Till next time!
